Today we’re going to be talking about the Kel-TEC sub-2000 and what is included in the case. This gun is badass.
Inside the box, you get the beautiful gun itself, a magazine, and a couple of manuals.
To open up the sub-2000 you have a latch down towards the butt of the gun, you flip that back and flip the gun up. To know if it’s in place, you’ll hear a click.
The sub-2000 comes with a three-position adjustable buttstock.
You have a reinforced polymer handgrip. The magazine is the 9mm Smith and Wesson version.
Also, you can do Sig Sauer, p226, 9millimeter or 40. You can do the Beretta 92 or 96 and the Glock 17, 19, 22 or 23.
I love this because you can throw it in your backpack. It folds up small. You put this thing anywhere you want and take it with you wherever you go.
You also have a front sight and a threaded barrel. This is a 16-inch lightweight barrel, and it is lightweight. This thing is awesome.
Speaking of weight on this thing, this thing is weighing in at 4.25 pounds unloaded, maybe 5 pounds once you get all the ammo in there, depending on which Maggie got, and how much ammo you’re rocking.
Overall length from buttstock to the end of the barrel is 30 inches. When the gun is collapsed, it measures in at 16 inches.
To collapse it you flip your trigger well, it comes down and then from there you push up on the barrel, and it just folds up.
The trigger pull is 9.5 pounds with a little wiggle room. Not the best trigger in the world, but it is what it is for Kel-Tec Sub-2000.
Also charging handle can lock back to the rear. So you just pulled it back twist it to the right and then you’re locked, chambers open. To close the chamber just merely flipped that back.
Alright Everyone, that’s the sub-2000!! Freaking awesome gun! They are tough to get due to Kel-Tec being a pretty small manufacturer.
