Alright everyone, today we’re reviewing and breaking down the Taurus G2C! It’s one of the most popular and cheapest guns out there.
Let’s go ahead and show you guys how to break down the Taurus G2C, Lube it up, and field strip it.
As everyone knows, this is a super popular gun mainly because it’s super cheap, it’s right around the $200 mark. I know for a fact we sell a crap ton of these things. With that being said let’s get after it!
The first thing you’re going to want to do is to make sure the chamber’s empty as well as the magazine well.
Once you’re at that point, it’s just like a Glock. Go ahead and close the slide, by pushing that slide release. Pull the slide back only about a quarter of an inch and pull the takedown levers down, return the slide to normal and then go ahead and pull the trigger and then the slide comes right off.
Now you got the frame, and the slide separated.
The next step is to take out the spring and the barrel. What you’re going to do is depress the spring and pull it out. Once the spring is removed, the barrel slides right out.
There you have the disassembly of the Taurus G2C. Now you can go ahead and clean the gun.
When cleaning your firearm, the first thing you want to do is wipe down everything with your favorite oil or cleaner. Make sure you’re scrubbing it down good. A clean gun is a happy gun!!!
Let put this baby back together. First, slide the barrel back into place and press the spring in place as well.
After that is done, you’re going to line up the slide rails and pull the slide back. Now your good to go.
After you put your firearm together, you want to make sure it functions correctly before firing live ammo.
