We’re going over the P320/P250 X-Change kit. This badass kit changes the caliber on your pistol.
With this kit, you’re going to have to decide on if you want this for the P320 or the P250 and then you’re going to pick the caliber. You have options between 22, 380 ACP, 9 millimeters, 40 S&W, 357 sig, or 45 ACP. After you figure out your caliber, you then decide on your frame size, which is either full size, compact, subcompact, or carrying.
Let ‘s go ahead and open this up and see what’s inside. At first glance you’ll notice the nice hard plastic case everything comes in.
When opening the case up you see right away you’ve got a frame with a mag in it, slide, manual, battery, and an extra part that you don’t need or you might need it.
Let ‘s go over how this works. We have a P250 in 40 Smith and Wesson, and we are going to change it into a 9mm.
You have the slide. This slide came with some little sexiness on it. This comes with the SIG RMR or red dot already installed on it. This is full upper, so you’ve got your barrel, spring, and all that good stuff. It also comes with a battery and a little tool for the Rmr or red dot. Also, it includes your instruction manual on how to assemble this as well as an additional slide catch assembly?
To change this out, it’s straightforward. The first thing you need to do is make sure your gun is clear, nothing in the Chamber magazine. Once you make sure, the firearm was empty, rack the slide to the rear, pull down your slide takedown lever, slide your slide forward, pulled it off. You don’t need that slide anymore.
Now you’re going to take your takedown lever and wiggle that out, and then pull up and out on your trigger assembly. Pull the trigger in a little bit to get it through the crevice and pop it out.
Then you’re just going to drop the assembly into your new gun, new caliber, boom, and you’re good to go.
This is a real easy exchange if you want to change your gun from a 40 or to a 9. If you want to shoot 22 with your kids, this is just a cool mod to do to your gun.
