Alright everyone, We’re going to show you what’s inside the Daniel Defense DDM4ISR. What you get is a nice carrying case with it. Inside you get the beautiful rifle, that comes with a bag full of goodies as well.
Inside the bag, you get their Daniel Defense magazine, safety levers, a sticker, a tool to take off your suppressor covers, You can clean it and all that good stuff, and last you get a manual.
Let’s go into the details of the DDM4ISR.
This rifle is calibrated in 300 blackout. If you didn’t already know, it also has an integrated suppressor. Meaning it is permanently attached. Your suppressor starts about halfway down the barrel on the rifle and goes all the way to the end. It’s a massive suppressor!! This thing has got to be super quiet; I’d love to take this out to the range and shoot it.
The gas system is pistol length and weighs 7.5Lbs, which is much lighter than the first one that they made. This is a gen two, not the gen one, much lighter coming in at seven pounds.
Overall length is about 31 and 1/2 to 34 and 3/4 inch. Comes with a DD magazine, which we showed you guys earlier in the case. Let’s get into the specs of the DDM4ISR.
The upper receiver and lower receiver are both mil-spec. The lower has an enhanced flare magazine which helps you with easier reloading as well as the rear receiver has a QD swivel attachment point, which is also very nice to have.
The barrel guys is a chrome-moly steel, and a cold hammer forged with a one eight twists in the barrels coming in at nine inches.
The integrated suppressor, let’s talk about that. It’s all steel construction, monolithic baffled, high-temp Cerakote, C finished pinned and welded assembly. You are not taking the suppressor off this gun.
It’s pinned welded, which is why you do not need a tax stamp for a short barreled rifle. You do need a tax stamp for the suppressor, but not for a short barreled rifle since it is pinned and welded.
Alright everyone, the bolt carrier group is the M16 profile mil-spec MP tested chrome line. The gas system is the Daniel Defense ISR Integrated Gas Glock, pistol link, direct impingement. The buffer on here is the H buffer.
The sites are not included with theDDM4ISR; they are sold separately. You have to either grab yourself a red dot or some iron slides, whatever you prefer.
The handguard on here is the MFR xl 15in.
We also have a receiver extension, and it’s a six-point mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum. The buttstock is the Daniel Defense buttstock glass filled polymer was with soft touch over-molding, which I love the stocks on the Daniel Defense and the grips, one of my favorites.
Speaking of the pistol grip, it is also glass filled polymer with a soft touch over molding, which is just so nice, so nice. The finish overall on this guys is the mil-spec Cerakote, and best of all this is made in the U.S.A.
I’m also going to go over why you do not need a tax stamp on this gun. The DDM4LSR integrated suppressor extends the barrel link to an NFA required 16 inches. This platform is not classified as a short barreled rifle, also known as an SBR and therefore only requires a single tax stamp for the suppressor.
As I stated earlier, the suppressor on here is a lightweight outer tube, and it is constructed of durable heat resistant metal alloys and coated with a protective high-temperature Cerakote C finish, which can withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments, which makes this gun a badass!!!
