Alright everyone, today we are going to talk about what you get when unboxing the .380 Springfield 911. Let’s get after it!
Let’s go ahead and open this bad boy up. At first glance of the Springfield 911, you’re going to notice the nice sleek case it comes in, and you’re also going to get a gun lock, some oil, an extra mag, and of course your manuals.
So let’s go ahead and get into the case it comes in. Inside you’re going to get a lot of space. You’re also going to get a sweet holster plus your gun, and you’re also going to get another mag. So all together you get one gun, two mags, and a little carrying bag.
Let’s go ahead and get into the firearm itself. This is caliber in .380 ACP. It comes with a full link guy rod with a flat wire spring. This Springfield also comes with beautiful Pro-Glo tritium front and rear night sights. This sucker’s weighing in at 12.6 ounces. This thing is tiny. It fits right into your palm.
The height is 3.9 inches. The slide is made out of 416 Black Nitrite with a loaded chamber indicator. The barrel length comes in at 2.7 inches of 416 stainless steel with a Black Nitrite finish. So it looks excellent. The overall length is coming in at 5.5 inches.
The grip on this baby is a G10 grip, so you’re not going to find yourself losing grip. But you’re not going to have too much recoil on this .380 anyways.
The frame is 7075 T6 anodized hard coat aluminum with an Octo-Grip texture on the front strap.
Let’s go over the magazines. So what you get is a 1-6 round Flush & 1-7 round extended.
We also have a thumb safety on here as well, and it’s ambidextrous. The hammer on the firearm is looking beautiful.
This is Springfield’s first entry into the .380 pocket style pistol. Looking a little closer at the pistol there are beautiful slide saturations; you get their logo on top of the slide there as well as 911 written on the opposite side of the frame.
Overall The gun feels and looks really, really good. I cannot wait to take this thing out to the range. If I had to pick my favorite thing about this gun it would have to be the sticky holster it comes with. With this holster, you take it and stick it in your pants, and you’re good to go.
The sweet part when going to the range is the velcro on the side of the holster, it just sticks right in the bag, and it’s not going anywhere. It’s probably the best thing I like about this whole Combo is it comes with the sticky holster. I mean overall it’s a cool gun. Let’s test out the trigger pull on this. That’s been asked a lot in the comments to test the trigger pull. We’re going to go ahead and do that for you, everyone. We’ll do three pools here. The average of all three comes to 4lbs 14oz.
