Today we’ve got the FN 509 But not only do we have the 509, but we also got this bad boy suppressed.
Check out the sweet case! Inside it comes with the 509 tactical, two 24 round extended mags, one 11 round mag.
So what makes this bad boy tactical? First off you got suppressor height night sites, super nice threaded barrel optics mounting system, which is badass. We’ll go to that little bit more here in a second.
What tweaks are there from the original five? A new slide stop and new oversized mag catch which can be left handed or right handed. This comes standard with a threaded barrel now. You unscrew the thread protector, grab your can that fits perfectly inside of this case and put it on.
So this comes integrated with an O-ring on the thread protector, which is a must. I hate guns that do not have that on there because then it falls off.
So this has the O-ring, which allows you to shoot thousands of rounds without worrying about that sucker coming off, and then you’ll lose it, and it’s gone.
This comes with an optics kit that allows you to mount all major brands onto here. For example RMR, Red Dots, and all that good stuff.
It’s super easy, and these mounted directly onto the slide versus stacking of the plates on here which makes it unreliable. All the screws and hardware come in the case, so you have to do is buy a gun and buy an optic, and you’re good to go.
This model is currently only coming in FDE using the PVD coating, but rumor has it blacks on its way.
This thing shoots good, and the reset on the trigger is pretty good. It Can’t get better than that.
