WESTFIELD, Massachusetts \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>December 18, 2023 \u2013 Al Kasper, Savage Arms\u2019 CEO who has led the company for more than a decade, will retire December 31, 2023. Kasper\u2019s entire career at Savage spans more than 25 years and began when he joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer.\u00a0 Kasper will remain on the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

\u201cAl\u2019s impact is evident in every aspect of our company,\u201d said Chris Bezzina, Savage\u2019s new President and CEO. \u201cHis knowledge in operations, finance and product development helped fuel our growth as a company. As the new leader of this organization, I look forward to continuing the momentum Al helped create, driving Savage to be an industry leader in innovative technologies, and expanding upon our best-in-class manufacturing capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chris Bezzina will take over as President and CEO effective December 31, 2023. Bezzina joined Savage in 2007, where he led the engineering team and brought Savage innovations to market such as the AXIS rifle, AccuStock and the breakthrough A17 platform. <\/p>\n

Chris then spent over ten years in operations where his contributions are numerous, and highlights include him leading the company\u2019s new product development and manufacturing initiatives including process improvements, LEAN initiatives and technology which have significantly grown the company\u2019s revenue and improved operating margins and cash flows.\u00a0<\/p>\n
