As a result, Antoine \u201csustained severe and permanent personal injuries, became sick, sore, lame and disabled; suffered injuries to her nervous system; suffered mental anguish, was confined to hospital, bed and home and may, in the future, be so confined,\u201d the lawsuit reportedly alleged.<\/p>\n<p>The suit described Antoine as being \u201cincapacitated from attending to her usual duties and vocation,\u201d adding that she may \u201csuffer a loss and\/or limitation of quality and enjoyment of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diagne opened fire just before 2 a.m. Sunday near Buford\u2019s bar on West Sixth Street in Austin, Texas, leaving two victims dead and 14 others wounded, according to KVUE. At the time of the attack, he was said to be wearing a sweatshirt reading \u201cProperty of Allah\u201d with a t-shirt featuring the Iranian flag underneath, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have yet to confirm any motive as speculation mounts about a possible lone-wolf domestic terror attack fueled by the Iran strikes.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Doran, the acting special agent in charge of the FBI\u2019s field office in San Antonio, said Sunday that investigators are looking into a \u201cpotential nexus to terrorism\u201d as they review the evidence.<\/p>\n<p>After searching Diagne\u2019s home Sunday, authorities found an Iranian flag, along with images of Iranian leaders, according to CBS News. A Quran was also found in the gunman\u2019s car.<\/p>\n<p>One victim is expected to be taken off life support and two others are in critical condition, Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said during a press conference Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Diagne and the company he worked for at the time were \u201cnegligent, careless, reckless, grossly negligent in the ownership, operation, management, maintenance, repair, inspection and control\u201d of the car, the lawsuit alleged.<\/p>\n<p>The suit read that the \u201cplaintiff is only seeking to recover those damages not recoverable through no-fault insurance under the facts and circumstances in this action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is not clear how the case played out in the end.<\/p>\n<p>Diagne was working as a taxi driver in the 2010s, according to the New York Post.
