Examples abound: Both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush campaigned on moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Trump o<\/span>rdered a\u00a0<\/span>January 2020 drone strike\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>Baghdad<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that killed him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n For decades, U.S. diplomacy assumed\u00a0<\/span>Arab states would not normalize relations with Israel until a Palestinian state was created. Trump broke the mold, creating the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n In January, <\/span>Trump posted a message addressed directly to the Iranian population amid the violent crackdown on demonstrators by the Iranian regime, which reportedly murdered tens of thousands of innocent people. He wrote: \u201cIranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING \u2013 TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!! \u2026 Save the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a big price. \u2026 HELP IS ON ITS WAY.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
