The navy is gone, all lying at the bottom of the ocean \u2014 46 ships, can you believe it? In fact, I got a little upset with our people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump said that he\u2019d posed the question to military leadership, asking whether the ships would even have been worth keeping: \u201cI said, \u2018What quality of ship?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcellent, sir. Top of the line!\u201d was the reply.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018Why didn\u2019t we just capture the ship? We could\u2019ve used it! Why did we sink them?!\u2019\u201d Trump continued, adding, \u201cHe said, \u2018It\u2019s more fun to sink them.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Everyone laughed then, as he continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey like sinking them better,\u201d he repeated. \u201cThey say it\u2019s safer to sink them.
