Palm Beach International Airport will be renamed after President Donald Trump under legislation signed Monday by Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The change is set to take effect July 1, with the Federal Aviation Administration working to update navigational charts and databases as part of the transition.<\/p>\n The bill\u2019s<\/span><\/a> approval changes the name to \u201cPresident Donald J. Trump International Airport.\u201d Trump frequently flies out of Palm Beach International after weekend stays at his Mar-a-Lago home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The legislation passed the Florida Senate in a 25-11 vote on February 19 and the state House 81-30 on February 17.
