He was detained for five days but has not been charged with a crime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been 10 days, it\u2019s been a long time, I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever been apart from her in 25 years for this long,\u201d Brian said in an interview with NBC News.<\/p>\n<p>Brian told <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/GQ6nE1NEcKM?si=wp6QcwoVBCUSox-q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a> that investigators may be focusing on him due to the intense media attention surrounding the case.<\/p>\n<p>The case has drawn widespread interest after Lynette\u2019s daughter, Karli Aylesworth, and her mother, Darlene Hamlett, publicly raised questions about Brian\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p>According to Brian, rough conditions and a strong current pulled Lynette away after she fell overboard.<\/p>\n<p>However, a longtime Bahamas resident told The Daily Wire that the area where Brian claims Lynette went missing is typically calm and protected.
