Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman described the moment he called for the ship\u2019s chaplain at the end of the historic lunar mission, saying that even though he did not think of himself as terribly religious, he \u201cbroke down in tears\u201d when he saw the cross on the officer\u2019s collar.<\/p>\n

But I saw the cross on his collar, and I just broke down in tears,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s very hard to fully grasp what we just went through.\u201d<\/p>\n Wiseman also issued a challenge to the world, saying that it was very easy in today\u2019s society to get used to a more passive existence \u2013 but that progress depended on embracing hard work.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re starting to lose scope as a society that you do have to go do things.
