Heroism and hope in your comics, pure glee at political murder in your tweets. Mask fully torched. Exactly why comics suck now and nobody cares what you \u2018creatives\u2019 think anymore. Enjoy the backlash and canceled orders,\u201d another commenter <\/span>wrote<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Instead of deleting the post or apologizing, Camp made the claim that he was talking about something else entirely.<\/span><\/p>\n Follow up tweets included one that said, \u201cI am so bad at darts!\u201d alongside a stock image of a dartboard with darts not hitting their mark, and another that said, \u201cPeople are really passionate about darts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n No one in the comments believed that Camp was posting about darts. Many X users tagged DC and Marvel in the posts.<\/span><\/p>\n Camp is a comic book writer who has worked across Marvel, DC, and independent publishers. He wrote for \u201cThe Ultimates\u201d for Disney-owned Marvel and contributed to X-Men-related projects. He\u2019s also the writer of \u201cAbsolute Martian Manhunter\u201d for DC\u2019s \u201cAbsolute Universe\u201d line. His independent work includes \u201cAssorted Crisis Events\u201d and \u201c20th Century Men,\u201d <\/span>per<\/span><\/a> Geeks and Gamers.<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, actor and Trump critic Ben Stiller faced similar backlash for a social post that got misinterpreted and does seem to be a mistake, according to Community Notes.<\/span><\/p>\n Prominent figures including Congresswoman Nancy Mace and Richard Grenell came after Stiller when he posted<\/a>\u00a0\u201cGot it done\u201d about 20 minutes after the would-be assassin breached security at the Washington Hilton.
