Recording artist Kid Cudi has dropped rapper M.I.A. from his tour due to \u201coffensive\u201d statements she made about immigrants.<\/span><\/p>\n M.I.A. was dropped following an incident on May 2 at the Dallas stop of Cudi\u2019s Rebel Ragers Tour. Some audience members were enraged by the comments M.I.A. made during her opening act, which included her saying, \u201cI\u2019ve been canceled for many reasons. I never thought I would be canceled for being a brown Republican voter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She also discussed not performing one of her songs, saying, \u201cI can\u2019t do \u2018Illegal,\u2019 though some of you could be in the audience.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Left-leaning Reddit commenters went into a spiral over her remarks, which they <\/span>called<\/span><\/a> \u201cwildly racist.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHer entire set left a bad taste in my mouth,\u201d one person complained.<\/span><\/p>\n Cudi told fans that M.I.A. was out via an Instagram post shared yesterday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTOUR UPDATE: M.I.A is no longer on this tour.
