Trump 1946-2024.\u201d The image was posted on Hamill\u2019s verified Bluesky account.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MarkHamill?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@MarkHamill<\/a> is one sick individual.<\/p>\n<p>These Radical Left lunatics just can\u2019t help themselves.<\/p>\n<p>This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/daJqcyssm7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/daJqcyssm7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RapidResponse47\/status\/2052389711159632330?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 7, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the classic \u201cStar Wars\u201d films that debuted in 1977, wrote that Trump \u201cshould live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted &amp; humiliated for his countless crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLong enough to realize he\u2019ll be disgraced in the history books, forevermore,\u201d the actor added.<\/p>\n<p>The White House responded on X, calling Hamill \u201cone sick individual.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese Radical Left lunatics just can\u2019t help themselves,\u201d a post from the White House press team said. \u201cThis kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hamill later removed the gravestone image and sought to clarify his remarks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, I was wishing him the opposite of dead, but apologize if you found the image inappropriate,\u201d he wrote on Bluesky.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, a man stormed a security checkpoint and fired a shotgun outside the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner in what authorities said was an attempt to assassinate Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was shot in the ear in 2024 at a rally in Pennsylvania. The shooter was killed by the Secret Service.<\/p>\n<p>Also in 2024, a man was found hiding in bushes with weapons close to where Trump was golfing.
