We Went To Find Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative\" data-narration-container=\"true\">\n<p><strong>HOUSTON, Texas \u2014<\/strong> Tucked away in the quiet suburbs of Houston, Texas, is a sinister plot to undermine American immigration laws.<\/p>\n<p>Inside three suburban homes and one rundown apartment are allegedly Chinese women, along with their families, who are waiting to give birth to American citizen babies they can bring back to China.<\/p>\n<p>The State of Texas sued <span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">De\u2019Ai Postpartum Care Center in Houston, which they say operates the homes, accusing them of <\/span><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">\u201cexploiting birthright citizenship by unlawfully facilitating the invasion of Chinese nationals \u2026 for the sole purpose of giving birth.\u201d The center has allegedly facilitated the births of more than 1,000 American-born babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire knocked on each of the homes\u2019 doors. Lin-Chan came out of the residence while recording on his phone as he asked: \u201cCan I see your ID?,\u201d adding \u201cBecause you just take picture of me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then ignored another question about the lawsuit. Wang has since agreed to plead guilty in the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>One of the center\u2019s recent TikTok videos encourages\u00a0women to apply for American tourist visas \u201cbefore pregnancy,\u201d stating that the federal government \u201cwill strictly investigate birth tourism,\u201d adding, \u201cIt is easy to be rejected if you sign after pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The center also \u201cclaims to offer a variety of options for tourism while expectant families await the birth of their child,\u201d that include a \u201cluxury chauffeured black-car service across the Houston area for its high-paying guests, purportedly to visit the variety of different locales advertised on its social media page, including the spring bluebonnets in Brenham, Texas, the Houston Rodeo, Christmas light shows in Houston, and the Louvre Couture exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts,\u201d the lawsuit states.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1092195\" style=\"width:310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1092195\" class=\"wp-image-1092195 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2026\/05\/Untitled-design-2026-05-08T143759.585-300x183.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2026\/05\/Untitled-design-2026-05-08T143759.585-300x183.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2026\/05\/Untitled-design-2026-05-08T143759.585.jpg 682w\" sizes=\"auto,  (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1092195\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Neighbors of the properties said they had little to no interaction with the alleged birthing center residents, with some reporting seeing multiple vehicles crammed in the driveways.<\/p>\n<p>David, who declined to share his last name out of concern for his safety, said he\u2019s seen many different people going in and out of one of the homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve seen this in Asian households, like a bunch of family members living there. That\u2019s what it looked like,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Harris County Deputy Constable Craig Cummings told The Daily Wire that his office encourages community members to report such suspicious activity \u201cso that we can act on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said if neighbors observe that many people are packed in one home, it\u2019s cause for concern.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not ordinary, but it\u2019s also something that we\u2019re aware of. When we start looking at multiple people in a home, we start thinking that this may be some nexus to human trafficking. Clearly, having a large number of people in a home is not normal,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Nonimmigrant visas, such as tourist visas, \u201care reserved for temporary visits for business or pleasure, with applicants bearing the burden of proving they intend to depart after their authorized stay\u201d and not \u201cfor the primary purpose of obtaining U.S. citizenship for a child by giving birth in the United States,\u201d immigration lawyer Matthew Kolken told The Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn sum, visiting temporarily for pleasure does not include travel for the primary purpose of obtaining U.S. citizenship for a child by giving birth in the United States,\u201d Kolken said.<\/p>\n<p>Committing such immigration fraud \u201cresults in a lifetime bar to admissibility\u201d to the United States, according to Kolken.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump signed an executive order ending birthright citizenship on his second Inauguration Day.
