A 21-year-old political commentator was attacked and temporarily blinded by a masked individual while debating transgender violence on a college campus earlier this week.<\/p>\n
A video shows Ryley Niemi, a conservative who regularly debates leftist students, sitting at a table on the University of California Santa Cruz campus when a black-clad person wearing dark sunglasses and a mask approached him and dumped a bucket of black liquid on him.<\/p>\n
Niemi chased after the individual who fled the scene, and people in the area began cheering and shouting for Niemi to \u201cget the f*ck off this campus.\u201d The attacker escaped, but in an exclusive interview with The Daily Wire, Niemi said the police are \u201cactively investigating this and looking for the person.”<\/p>\n
Niemi, said the liquid caused blindness in both eyes for three hours, and blindness for six hours in his right eye.<\/p>\n
\u201cEMTs flushed my eyes with five vials of saline solution,\u201d Niemi said. During his visit to the ER, Niemi learned that his \u201cright eye has a corneal abrasion, and 48 hours later, my right eye still hurts and is slightly blurry.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that the attack resulted in semi-permanent damage to his right eye and cut short his debate at UC Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n
\nAt @ucsc<\/a>, a masked far-left extremist threw a bucket of black liquid on conservative activist @RyleyNiemi_<\/a>. Leftists laughed and cheered on the attacker, who ran away.<\/p>\n

Niemi’s table featured signs that stated \u201ctrans women are men\u201d and \u201ctransgenders are violent.\u201d He said the attacker was \u201c100% male\u201d who appeared to be around 6′ tall and \u201chas a modified voice [because of hormone therapy], long hair, and feminine earrings.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe irony is,\u201d Niemi continued, \u201cthat one of the signs said \u2018trans-genders are violent.\u2019 And then a transgender attacked me.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is not the first time Niemi has been attacked<\/a>. Six weeks ago, Niemi interviewed a gay couple with a baby on the street and asked them about statistics on gay men committing child molestation. One of the men shoved him and proceeded to follow Niemi, punching him in the back of the head. Niemi said he suffered a concussion from the attack.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe district attorney has let them off the hook,\u201d Niemi added.<\/p>\n
The Right-wing commentator explained that he holds debates to \u201cchange the mind of the American public to be more conservative.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhy are they so triggered when @RyleyNiemi_<\/a> ask them completely reasonable questions about the child\u2019s wellbeing?<\/p>\n
